Yes, as long as the document was originally initiated and "signed" using a digital signature program, digital signatures provide legally binding authentication of the concerned parties.
- First, you have to use your smart QID to register with the National Authentication Service (Qatar's e-service provider for all government entities).
- Enter your NAS credentials to help you log into the Single Window platform
- Locate your contract and sign digitally
You will need:
● A smart Qatar identity card (QID).
● An account with Single Window with your username and password.
● Visit the nearest Single Window premises for non-QID holders.
● The nearest Qatar embassy will assist those operating from outside Qatar.
A digital signature is a convenient, time-saving, safe and secure way of signing electronic documents.
An electronic document is any document that is generated or stored online, such as a contract or a letter. It can also include an image, photograph, blueprint or a drawing. A digital signature can be used to sign these documents.
