Original certificate of good conduct (Police clearance). Certificate of completion of qualifying examination. An acknowledgment of working full-time for the profession or an application form to combine the profession and business that do not violate the morals and principles of the profession.  An acknowledgment of non-professional economic activities and businesses and not engaging in these activities themselves. An acknowledgement of a site stating a non-conviction of disciplinary action affecting the integrity, honor and ethics of the profession.

For non-Qataris, they must submit: A copy of valid passport. A copy of a recognized membership certificate of not less than five years. Provide a proof that they are a partner of one of the registered Qatari auditors in the register of working auditors or working for them

A renewal head letter of the office addressed to the director of Corporate Affairs. In the event of a delay beyond the legal period of renewing the registration, an excuse letter shall be submitted to the Auditors Affairs Committee. A copy of the identification card. A copy of the registration license and establishment registration. A statement of the names and number of employees during the year. Certificate of the programs and accounting or auditing courses passed.

Regarding the transfer of registration of auditors from working natural persons to nonworking:

Regarding the transfer of registration of auditors from nonworking natural persons to working:

A letter addressed to the department expressing wishes to transfer the registration back to working.

A copy of the identification card.

A copy of the transfer to non-working certification.

A copy of the latest commercial registration.

Cost: No costs.

A copy of the identification card or passport for each of the partners. The Memorandum of Association form for the company. A certificate stating the establishing legal partner has obtained the license of practice from their country. The authorized signatory declaration form of the directors.

A letter from the Non-Qatari headquarter office addressed to the competent department requesting the registration, and translated into Arabic. A letter from the headquarter office regarding the registration of an authorized auditor on behalf of the office, addressed to the competent department and translated into Arabic. Memorandum of Association of the headquarter office in its one country (A copy of the original), and the statute (if any). A practicing certificate in the headquarter office in home country for at least ten years without interruption, activities, financial solvency, and the accounting work they have performed.

    Qatari embassy to do the following:

  •     Bear all obligations arising from the office practicing the profession in the country.
  •     Provide the branch office with the necessary technical expertise, insuring it and its employees against the well -recognized risks of the profession by one of the Qatari insurance companies.
  •     Academic qualifications and experience certifications for accountants and employees of the branch office, certified by the competent authorities.

    Documentation of the person responsible for managing the office or authorized signatory:

  •     A copy of the identification card or passport.
  •     Qualifications obtained in the field of accounting, issued by a recognized university or institute, and certified by the competent authorities.
  •     - Certificate of experience of not less than ten years, five of which are in the headquarter office (an exception to this if the responsible manager is a Qatari).
  •     Commitment of permanent presence in the country.
  •     A license to practice the profession in their home country for the global office.
  • Certificate of registration as an auditor in the auditor’s register of working natural persons (if any).

The cost of the renewal of non-Qatari office/ company registration in the register of operating accounting offices and companies is 10,000 Qatari Riyals.

The cost of registering a non-Qatari office or a company in the register of operating accounting offices and companies is 20,000 Qatari Riyals.

The cost of registering a company in the register of operating accounting offices and companies is 7,000 Qatari Riyals

The cost of the registration of working natural persons in the auditors’ register is 5,000 Qatari Riyals.

The cost of the renewal of an auditor’s registration in the auditors’ register of working natural persons is 2,000 Qatari Riyals.

The cost of the renewal of Qatari office/ company registration in the register of operating accounting offices and companies is 3,000 Qatari Riyals.
