The investor proceeds to apply for a commercial permit (CP) after completing the following procedures:

  • Reserved a trade name.
  • Issued a commercial registration (CR).
  • Identified a location or a facility that is suitable for the activities he would like to practice / license.

After receiving the CP, the investor can begin conducting their business and hire employees, if needed. It is notable that, the CP can also be issued within the comprehensive establishment service.

  • The applicant must have a National Authentication System (NAS) account registered with a valid Qatari ID.
  • There is no ban on any of the partners or the owner by the official authorities in the country.
  • The applicant must be listed in an active commercial registration (CR).
  • The commercial registration (CR) must be active.
  • The establishment is not associated with a CP, and if it has been associated with one before it must be a terminated one.
  • Fill out the application including data and attachments.
  • Receiving the request and verifying it automatically through the single window systems and service providers.
  • Reviewing the request and deciding on it by the government agencies providing the service.
  • Pay fees electronically on the single window portal.
  • Receive the certificates electronically through the single window.
