Descriptions

This service allows for renewing an advertising license as follows:

Temporary: Advertising poster on shops, rental boards on buildings, plays, commercial banners, display stands.
Permanent: Issuing licenses for names of complexes, commercial markets, residential complexes, and government buildings
Annual: Advertising sticker on vehicles, logo on shop main board, changing display screens, street pole signs, billboards on buildings.

The applicant shall have a registered account in the National Authentication System “Tawtheeq” with a valid Qatari ID.
There shall be no ban on any of the partners or the owner imposed by the official authorities in the country.

Fill out the application, including data and attachments.
Receive the application and verify it automatically through the Single Window systems and service providers.
Review the application and decide on it through the government entities providing the service.
Pay fees electronically on the Single Window portal.
Receive the certificates and original copies electronically through the Single Window.

Required documents depend on the Signage Type, Specification, Location and other parameters. Below are samples of the required documents:

Sketch of the signage design stamped by the designing company.
Proposal of ad showing size, volume, color, and place and way of fixing.
Copy of approval of the Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior in case the ad is on vehicles.
Approval of property owner in case the signage location is owned by a person other than the applicant.

Fees are calculated based on Permit type, classification, location and size as follows:

Temporary Permit:
- Yearly fee for each square meter or part of it inside Doha: QR20.
- Yearly fee for each square meter or part of it outside Doha: QR10.
- Elections are exempted from fees.
- Government entities are exempted from fees.
Annual Permit:
- Ads on buildings for one year: QR100 for each square meter.
- Ads to promote other companies by putting their slogans on signage for one year: QR200 for each square meter.
- Ads on e-signs and changing ones for one year: QR300 for each square meter.
- Government entities are exempted from fees.
Vehicle Ads Permit:
- Vehicle ads for one year per side: QR100 for each square meter.
- Prize ads for car raffles over three months: QR400.
- Government entities are exempted from fees.
