This service allows investors who have existing companies with an active commercial registration (CR) to apply for adding a new branch for that CR.

If the main CR has an active commercial permit (CP), the investor may also request issuing a CP for the new branch CR on the same request and specifying the business activities that will be practiced in the new branch's CP.

  • The applicant shall have a registered account in the National Authentication System “Tawtheeq” with a valid Qatari ID.
  • There shall be no ban on any of the partners or the owner imposed by the official authorities in the country.
  • The applicant shall be listed in an active main CR of company or an individual establishment.
  • The branch name shall be identical to that of the company, and its activities shall fall within the company objectives, i.e. the activities of the branch CR shall belong to the groups of the activities of the main CR.
  • The branch CR automatically inherits the trade name of the main CR.
  • The branch CP cannot be issued unless the CP of the main CP is active.
  • Fill out the application, including data and attachments.
  • Receive the application and verify it automatically through the single window systems and service providers.
  • Review the application and decide on it through the government agencies providing the service.
  • Pay fees online on the Single Window portal.
  • Receive the certificates and original copies electronically through the Single Window.
     

Document Condition
A unanimous decision of the owner or partners or a decision of a general assembly held in accordance with the company’s articles of association.

Copy of a valid permit / approval issued by the regulating agency

For each regulated business activity that shall be registered and / or licensed.

These documents will not be requested if you choose to issue them through the procedures of your request being submitted via the Single Window.

Any formal document that is issued outside Qatar must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Qatar at the issuing country.

The computation rules are the same as Qatar Chamber (QCCI) Fees listed in the Comprehensive Establishment service. But for the branch CRs, the QCCI renewal fees will be
  • 10% for the QCCI fee if branch had the same activities as the main
  • Otherwise, the full QCCI fee will be applied.

Add Sub Commercial Permit
This service allows investors that already have commercial permits to apply for issuing a Sub-Commercial Permit that allows them to practice special type activities (ATM, warehouse, etc.)
Comprehensive Establishment
This service allows investors to obtain all the necessary licenses to set up a business.
Manage Foreign Company Branches
This service allows owners of Foreign Company Branches to manage their company by offering a number of services (add/ remove/ extend contract)
Issue Commercial Permit
The investor proceeds to apply for a commercial permit after completing some procedures.
