This service allows investors to apply changes to any component of their commercial establishments: trade name, legal structure, business activities, capital and ownership, managers and board of directors, commercial location and manager-in-charge, and contract.

The investor may choose to apply one or multiple actions in one transaction and the Single Window will capture the required data and compute the required fees, and attachments, and open the required cases and collect the signatures if a contract amendment is required, then collect the fees and deliver the updated certificates.

  • The applicant shall have a registered account in the National Authentication System “Tawtheeq” with a valid Qatari ID.
  • There shall be no ban on any of the partners or the owner imposed by the official authorities in the country.
  • The applicant shall be listed in a commercial establishment that has at least one active CR or an active CP.
  • The CR, CP, and the Organization (according to the company duration) must be active ahead of starting the update service request.
  • If the company duration has elapsed, then only Amend Contract / Extend Company Duration action can be selected to extend the expired duration.
  • Fill out the application, including data and attachments.
  • Receive the application and verify it automatically through the Single Window systems and service providers.
  • Review the application and decide on it through the government entities providing the service.
  • Sign Memorandum of Association (MoA) document digitally on the Single Window portal or by booking an appointment.
  • Pay fees online on the Single Window portal.
  • Receive the certificates and original copies electronically through the Single Window.

Approval of Partners in Accordance with the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association In case of adding/ removing business activity and the legal type is LLC, General, Limited Partnership.
Consent of the Owner In case of adding / removing business activity and the legal type is LLC One Person, Individual Establishment
Collective Pledges Signed by the Partners of the Company In case of adding business activity and the legal type is LLC, General Partnership, Simple Partnership.
No Objection Letter to Amending the Commercial Registration

In case of adding / removing business activity for each entity that has an active block decree on the CR being amended.

Curriculum Vitae (CV) For each partner / owner.

For each regulated business activity that shall be registered and/or licensed, removed and/or unlicensed.

These documents will not be requested if you choose to issue them through the procedures of your request being submitted via the Single Window.

Any formal document that is issued outside Qatar must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Qatar at the issuing country.

Relevant Services

Add Branch
This service allows investors that already have existing companies to apply for adding a new branch for the existing company and identifying the business activities that will be practiced in the new branch
Add Sub Commercial Permit
This service allows investors that already have commercial permits to apply for issuing a Sub-Commercial Permit that allows them to practice special type activities (ATM, warehouse, etc.)
Company Closure
This service allows investors that already have existing companies to apply for closing the whole establishment or one of its branches or permits.
Comprehensive Renewal
This service allows the investors to apply for the renewal for any expired permit (CR, CP, EID, etc.) within a specific establishment.
Manage Foreign Company Branches
This service allows owners of Foreign Company Branches to manage their company by offering a number of services (add/ remove/ extend contract)
Issue Commercial Permit
The investor proceeds to apply for a commercial permit after completing some procedures.
